Welcome to MidSouth Motorcycle Training!
We are dedicated to providing a safe, enjoyable, and comprehensive motorcycle training experience for riders of all skill levels. Whether you’re new to riding or returning to the sport, our expert-led courses are designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence you need to enjoy the open road safely.
Our classes take place in Winchester, TN, at the Franklin County High School Football Parking Lot (School Bus Parking Lot near the school) located at 833 Bypass Rd, Winchester, TN, 37398. We pride ourselves on offering smaller class sizes, averaging 6-9 students, to create a more personal and positive learning environment.
What We Offer
We follow the Motorcycle Safety Foundation® (MSF) Basic RiderCourse, a proven curriculum tailored for beginning riders or those seeking to refresh their skills. The course consists of:
- A 5-hour online classroom session to build foundational knowledge before training begins.
- A two-day riding range training, where you’ll practice hands-on skills like motorcycle controls, avoidance techniques, safe riding strategies, and overall road safety.
Our program includes everything you need to succeed, including motorcycles for your training, so you can focus on developing your skills without any added stress.
Benefits of Our Program
Upon successful completion of the course, graduates receive:
- DMV Testing Waivers: No need to take the written or riding tests at the DMV.
- MSF Completion Card: This certification may qualify you for an insurance discount.
For those outside Tennessee, Alabama accepts our waivers, but we recommend verifying acceptance of Tennessee paperwork with your state’s DMV.
